The Racing Street (RS) is the flagship tire of BATTLAX street application line up, designed for use on public roads. The RS11 is the successor to the RS10, which was standard equipment on numerous flagship motorcycles. It is a version of the highly regarded RACING R11 for track use, which has been tuned for street riding. Mitas TOURING FORCE is designed for riders of sport touring motorcycles who love to travel and experience a comfortable and confident ride. There’s a new Karoo for 2022, and it is ready to take on off-road adventures. The Metzeler Karoo 4 ADV tire features a big block tread pattern with space between the blocks for off-road traction. Replacing the Karoo 3, the new Karoo 4 positions itself between the pavement-oriented Karoo Street and the seriously off-road Karoo Extreme.
Like its predecessor, the Karoo 4 is made for adventure and dual sport riders who want good off-road performance and longevity in a 50/50 tire. The new rubber sits in between the Karoo Street and Karoo Extreme in Metzeler’s dual sport tire lineup. In developing the new rubber, Metzeler states they relied on their “cutting-edge technologies and processes” to expand the Karoo’s versatility on the dirt/street spectrum even more.
Avon Tires has launched the latest addition to its motorcycle range: Avon 3D SUPERSPORT, a hypersport tire developed on track and on the road to offer motorcyclists exceptional grip, handling and stability.
Three key technologies constitute the hypersport references of 3D SUPERSPORT. The tire’s advanced profile design generates extended grip by improving its contact with the road. This is achieved by an all-new tread pattern with an increased ‘land-to-sea’ ratio, which means a larger tire footprint and smaller tread pattern compared to the predecessor.
3D SUPERSPORT’s track-developed construction optimises handling, stability and feedback for the rider by bringing a sense of the race track to the road. While the tyre is designed for riders who predominantly ride on the road, Avon Tyres’ development team has carried out extensive on-track testing to ensure that 3D SUPERSPORT delivers thrilling and reliable performance when riders do take it on a track day.
3D SUPERSPORT has been launched in six sizes: one front and five rear. These include two rear sizes that are brand new to Avon Tyres in the hypersport segment (180/60ZR17 and 200/55ZR17) ensuring fitments for a wide range of sports and superbikes.

Dunlop has revealed details of its new-for-2022 RoadSmart IV, its most versatile sport-touring tyre yet. The RoadSmart IV uses a mix of Dunlop’s innovative technologies to create a multi-talented tyre. Dunlop’s goal is to set new standards in handling, stability, wet grip and mileage across the wide spectrum of motorcycles and rider styles in the sport-touring sector.
The sport-touring sector has become incredibly diverse as motorcycle genres overlap each other. Naked roadsters, crossover designs, road-focused adventure bikes, hyper-nakeds as well as traditional sport-tourers, were all in the design remit for RoadSmart IV.
Dunlop saw this broadening of the segment as an opportunity to create an all-new RoadSmart generation. It had to fit the needs of commuters, long-distance tourers and riders using their bikes for a Sunday morning blast. The design process was shaped by Dunlop’s research. Riders wanted a tyre that could deliver a perfect balance of outstanding dry performance and exceptional wet grip, neutral and stable handling and deliver consistent performance even after several thousand kilometres. From that brief, RoadSmart IV was born.
Mitas E-07 ENDURO is designed as a 50/50 dual sport – trail – adventure bike tire (50% on-road & 50% off-road use). It is an M+S (Mud+Snow) approved tire. Although many years on the market, it remains one of the most desirable choices of adventure riders, as it perfectly combines riding characteristics and mileage with off-road capability. The hardwearing compound and optimal performance, both on-road and off-road, make the E-07 a preferred choice on many journeys across the world. Selected sizes are available in the Dakar version (yellow stripe marking) featuring a stronger carcass and higher puncture resistance. Ideal for higher loads, long-distance adventure trips and extreme conditions.
Mitas E-07+ ENDURO TRAIL: 60% / 40% dual sport
Mitas E-07+ ENDURO TRAIL is designed as a 60/40 dual sport – trail – adventure bike tire (60% on-road & 40% off-road use). This M+S (Mud+Snow) approved tire delivers the best mileage durability in the segment and is also able to cope with difficult off-road terrain. Compared to the E-07, it has a more rounded profile to provide excellent maneuverability and cornering stability. The aggressive chevron tread pattern helps disperse water, soil, and mud from the surface, even in very extreme conditions. The harder rubber compound of the Dakar version (yellow stripe marking) brings 20% more mileage compared to the standard version and almost complete puncture protection thanks to the reinforced carcass. The rubber compound of the standard version (non-Dakar) is better suited for wet roads.
