Continental TKC 80² – 50/50 adventure and enduro tyre
The TKC 80² is the new generation of Continental’s established TKC 80. It is designed for modern adventure and enduro motorcycles whose routes regularly alternate between road and off-road terrain.
- A fully revised pattern uses larger blocks, more biting edges and optimised gaps for mechanical grip on gravel, sand and loose soil. The arrangement also increases control during off-road acceleration and braking.
- A larger footprint in highly loaded zones improves asphalt stability at speed and promotes more even wear.
- The reinforced carcass accommodates heavier modern adventure motorcycles, adding touring stability and mixed-surface control without removing long-distance comfort.
- Continental RainGrip compound technology raises wet-road and cool-weather traction over the previous generation for a more secure feel in changeable weather.
Depending on tyre size and vehicle approval, examples include BMW R1250GS and R1300GS, KTM 890 Adventure, Yamaha Ténéré 700, Honda Africa Twin and Ducati DesertX.
