Bridgestone Battlax S22 (L) – hypersport tyre
The Battlax Hypersport S22 is a premium sports tyre for demanding road riding and occasional track-day use. Its design brings together stable high-speed behaviour, accurate steering feedback and improved wet performance for modern supersport and naked motorcycles.
- Wet traction: New compounds with increased silica content deliver 5% more wet-road grip than the preceding S21.
- Dry corner performance: Revised construction permits up to 15% higher cornering speed on dry surfaces while maintaining controlled response.
- 3LC and 5LC: The front uses two compounds across 3 layers, with a firm centre for stability and mileage and softer shoulders for grip. The rear uses 5 layers and three compounds to adapt performance to different lean angles.
- Mono Spiral Belt (MSB): Promotes even pressure distribution for improved stability at speed and clearer feedback to the rider.
The S22 provides the cornering precision required on winding roads while retaining the versatility needed for everyday performance riding.
Special “L” specification developed for Suzuki GSX 1300 R Hayabusa (WVA1, 1300). It may suit other motorcycles where tyre size and vehicle approval are correct.
