Bridgestone have just announced FOUR brand new tyres that they’ll be bringing to the market next year!

Bridgestone Battlax CR11

Specially developed for Maxi Classic Racing, this tyre has already proven its superior performance. While still in development, the Battlax Classic Racing CR11 was a winner at the FIM Europe classic endurance championship (EEC). At the 4-hour Biker’s Classic in Spa-Francorchamps, it helped #10 Poweracing-Japauto take home first place and team #5 Roadrunner pick up second place. In damp and tricky conditions, the best lap time and the fastest pace were recorded with Bridgestone tyres.

Bridgestone Battlax BT46

The Battlax BT46 is set to replace the iconic Battlax BT45. Since its introduction 22 years ago, the Battlax BT45 has been the go-to tyre for touring. Now, Bridgestone has upgraded this design with modern technology.

The MICHELIN Road 5 GT is the latest addition to the MICHELIN Road 5 motorcycle tyre range.

Touring motorcycle fans, who own machines like the BMW R 1200 RT, BMW K 1600 GT, YAMAHA FJR 1300, HONDA PAN EUROPEAN 1300, KAWASAKI 1400 GTR,  TRIUMPH TROPHY,… demand specific tyres that deliver safety, comfort, long life, stability and sheer riding enjoyment irrespective of the conditions*, and even when a high number of kilometres have passed under their tread.

Developed in exactly the same spirit and to the same rigorous standards as the MICHELIN Road 5, the GT version packs the technological advances that are a hallmark of the other tyres that make up the Road 5 range.

To address the exacting demands expressed by owners of this type of motorcycle, the MICHELIN Road 5 GT places the emphasis on performance, notably on wet roads, along with stability and efficient braking, especially in instances where riders are caught out by poor weather. Following in-house comparative tests, the new tyre came out on top in terms of grip and braking performance on wet roads**, even when as much as 50 percent worn***.

The MICHELIN Road 5 GT benefits from additive metal manufacturing technology which permits the making of highly sophisticated moulds, as well as the incorporation of MICHELIN XST Evo technology whereby the tread pattern’s sipes widen to increase the tyre’s sea-to-land ratio, and thus maintain its water-clearance capacity, as the tyre wears.
