Metzeler Karoo Street – dual-sport and enduro tyre
The Karoo Street is aimed at modern adventure motorcycles, combining strong tarmac performance with useful grip on gravel and firm trails. Its estimated use split is 70% road and 30% off road.
- Karoo 3-inspired tread: Large central blocks improve road stability, while numerous block edges generate traction away from asphalt.
- High-silica compound: Supports wet- and dry-road grip without removing the tread’s ability to work on unsealed surfaces.
- Adventure versatility: The design balances wet traction, stability and mileage with off-road capability on gravel and hard-packed ground.
Depending on selected size and vehicle approval, examples include BMW R 1250 GS, KTM 1290 Super Adventure and Honda Africa Twin.
