Metzeler Cruisetec (I) – custom, cruiser and touring tyre
The Cruisetec gives cruiser and custom motorcycles a more sporting response while retaining the comfort and stability needed by heavier machines. Its road-focused design is suited to both sustained touring and more dynamic riding.
- Dual-compound rear technology: Two rear compounds combine confident cornering grip at the shoulders with the mileage required for longer journeys.
- Water-clearing tread: The optimised groove arrangement moves water away from the contact patch to support dependable wet-road traction.
- Reinforced carcass: A stable structure maintains precise handling, clear feedback and composure through bends and at higher speeds.
The Cruisetec is intended for paved roads and offers predictable performance in dry and wet conditions without losing the relaxed comfort expected from a touring tyre.
Suitable for compatible heavy cruisers and custom motorcycles from manufacturers including Harley-Davidson and Indian, depending on tyre size and vehicle approval.
Special “I” specification developed for Indian Motorcycle Chief Dark Horse (1811), Roadmaster (T, 1890) and Springfield (1811). It may fit other motorcycles where the size and approval are correct.
