Metzeler Sportec M7 RR (M) – hypersport tyre
Born from road-racing experience, the Sportec M7 RR is a high-performance supersport tyre for sporting riding in varied temperatures and weather, using dual-compound and Interact™ technologies with high silica content.
The M specification keeps the model’s emphasis on consistent feedback and responsive steering, with performance intended to remain usable when temperature and surface quality vary.
- Sporting handling: Race-derived profiles and a rigid structure support accurate, agile steering across different road surfaces.
- Grip across conditions: Its 100% silica compound and tread pattern maintain sporting capability on cold, wet, dirty or greasy roads.
- Improved mileage: Delivers 20% more mileage than the Sportec M5 Interact. Rear sizes use durable centre material within a dual-compound design to resist wear.
Depending on tyre size and motorcycle approval, compatible examples include Yamaha YZF-R6, Honda CBR600RR, Suzuki GSX-R600, Kawasaki Z750, Ducati Monster 821 and KTM 790 Duke.
