Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact – sport tyre
The Sportec M5 Interact is a versatile supersport tyre offering accurate handling and strong grip on dry and wet roads through Interact™ technology.
The five-zone construction is intended to make the tyre stable on the centre of the tread yet progressively more compliant towards the shoulder as lean angle increases. This supports controlled transitions from upright riding into corners and keeps the available grip distributed according to the demands placed on each part of the tread.
- Interact™ technology: Five zones of variable steel-belt tension tune behaviour across the tread. A firmer centre improves high-speed stability, while more flexible shoulders support cornering grip.
- Greek π tread pattern: Groove shape and placement aid water clearance, tune tread stiffness and distribute pressure across the contact patch at different lean angles.
- High-silica compound: Combines mechanical grip on varied asphalt with resistance to wear, supporting mileage and consistent performance.
Depending on the selected size and motorcycle approval, compatible examples include Yamaha YZF-R6, Honda CBR600RR, Suzuki GSX-R600, Kawasaki Z750, Ducati Monster 821 and KTM 790 Duke.
