Metzeler Tourance Next 2 – adventure & touring front tyre
The latest Tourance generation is intended for modern adventure motorcycles used mainly on asphalt with occasional light trails. Its estimated 90% road and 10% off-road balance favours touring stability and wet-weather confidence.
- Precise handling: A radial structure with a 0° steel belt and INTERACT™ technology provides neutral response and stability throughout the lean range.
- Wet braking: New compounds and METZELER HYPERBASE™ construction improve rain performance. Internal testing recorded a 1.5-metre shorter stopping distance than the leading segment competitor.
- Lasting performance: Updated compounds and METZELER DYMATEC™ preserve functional tread geometry as the tyre wears.
- Touring comfort: Stable tracking is maintained with or without a passenger and luggage.
Depending on size and motorcycle approval, examples include BMW R 1250 GS, Honda Africa Twin, Triumph Tiger 1200, Yamaha XT1200Z Super Ténéré, Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and KTM 1290 Super Adventure.
