Heidenau K42 – classic enduro tyre
The K42 is an all-weather tyre for mopeds, motorised bicycles and lightweight motorcycles. Its open blocks and class-specific tread layout drain water effectively for dependable wet- and dry-road contact, while matched compounds support durability.
- The K42 works well for leisure and touring on paved roads with occasional unsealed sections. The range also includes a dedicated silica-compound winter version for temperatures below +7°C, designed to improve low-temperature grip.
The standard K42 described here is the all-weather Enduro version rather than the dedicated winter compound.
Depending on size and vehicle approval, examples include the Simson S51, Simson KR51/2 Schwalbe, MZ TS 150 and Jawa 50.
