Dunlop Trailmax Raid – adventure & trail tyre
The Dunlop Trailmax Raid is designed around a 50% road and 50% off-road brief, giving adventure riders balanced performance on tarmac and trails without forcing a strong bias towards either surface.
- Aggressive block pattern: Inspired by the D908RR Rally Raid, the blocks generate off-road traction. Their spacing also limits road noise and improves tarmac behaviour without sacrificing trail ability.
- Wet-road grip: A high-silica compound stays flexible at low temperatures and improves traction on wet surfaces.
- Dynamic Front Formula (DFF): Front-profile design balances steering effort, stability and feedback for confident control.
- Jointless Belt (JLB) construction: On radial sizes, the overlap-free belt promotes smooth handling and stability at higher speeds.
Example applications include the BMW R1250GS, Honda Africa Twin, Yamaha Tenere 700, KTM 790/890 Adventure and Suzuki V-Strom 1050. Fitment depends on the size and specification approved for the individual motorcycle.
