Dunlop Geomax MX14 – sand and mud motocross rear tyre
The Geomax MX14 succeeds the MX12 and is built specifically for soft terrain such as sand, mud and loose soil. Its revised construction aims to increase drive, control and durability in demanding motocross conditions.
- Reinforced Scoop Technology (RST): repositioned, strengthened blocks gather loose ground more effectively to improve propulsion.
- The tread blocks are 18% taller than on the previous model, increasing traction during starts, straight-line acceleration and drive out of turns.
- V-BT Advanced: revised V-block angles and geometry improve stability at lean and make drifting easier to control.
- Flexible Fin Technology (FFT): thin flexible fins on the braking side of the blocks enlarge the contact area under braking, supporting control and stopping performance.
- A new carcass with an additional layer creates more linear sidewall stiffness, improving damping and absorption over impacts.
- The H-RRC compound’s higher rebound strength limits block deformation under load so performance remains stable.
