The premium Battlax Hypersport S22 is built for demanding road riders and occasional track-day use, combining grip and stability with improved wet-road performance.
- Improved wet grip: New compounds with higher silica content provide 5% more wet-road adhesion than the preceding S21.
- Faster dry cornering: The revised construction allows cornering speeds up to 15% higher on dry surfaces for a more sporting experience.
- 3LC and 5LC technology: The front tyre uses 3-Layer Compound (3LC), with a firmer centre for stability and life plus softer shoulders for cornering grip. The rear tyre uses 5-Layer Compound (5LC) with three compounds matched to different riding demands.
- Mono Spiral Belt (MSB) for stability: MSB distributes pressure evenly and improves high-speed composure and feedback.
