Bridgestone Battlax S22 (W) – hypersport tyre
The Battlax S22 combines precise sporting response, strong stability and improved wet grip for demanding riders seeking high performance on the road and during occasional track days.
- Wet performance: Newly developed compounds with greater silica content deliver 5% more wet traction than the previous S21 in rainy road conditions.
- Dry corner speed: Updated construction permits an increase of up to 15% on dry surfaces, adding confidence and enjoyment to fast cornering.
- 3LC and 5LC: The front tyre uses a firmer central compound and softer shoulders across 3 layers. The rear combines three compounds across 5 layers, balancing stability and mileage in the centre with grip as lean angle increases.
- Mono Spiral Belt (MSB): Encourages even pressure distribution and improves high-speed stability along with the clarity of rider feedback.
Designed for modern supersport and naked motorcycles, the S22 provides accurate handling on winding country roads and the control required for occasional circuit sessions.
Special “W” specification developed for Yamaha MT-10 (RN78, 1000) and MT-10 SP (RN78, 1000). Other fitments require the correct size and approval.
