Bridgestone Battlax S22 (AA) – hypersport tyre
The premium Battlax S22 is intended for demanding road riding and occasional track days, combining accurate feedback, stability and improved wet performance.
- Wet traction: Higher-silica compounds provide 5% more wet grip than the preceding S21.
- Dry cornering: Revised construction permits up to 15% higher corner speeds on dry tarmac.
- 3LC and 5LC compounds: The front uses two compounds across 3 layers, with a firm centre and softer shoulders. The rear employs three compounds across 5 layers for stability, mileage and corner grip.
- Mono Spiral Belt (MSB): Promotes even pressure distribution, high-speed stability and clear rider feedback.
The S22 suits modern supersport and naked motorcycles used on winding roads and for occasional circuit sessions.
Special “AA” specification developed for Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX (ZXT02P/P1, 1000) and Ninja H2 SX SE+ (ZXT02P/R1, 1000). Other motorcycles require the correct size and approval.
