Bridgestone Battlax S21 (M) – hypersport rear tyre
The Battlax Hypersport S21 is intended for supersport and naked motorcycles used on spirited road rides and occasional track days. Advanced compound zoning and belt construction provide accurate steering, confident cornering grip and improved wear life.
- 3-Layer Compound (3LC) technology: This front tyre places two compounds across three tread zones. A firmer centre promotes stability and mileage, while softer shoulders support grip at full lean.
- 5-Layer Compound (5LC) technology: The matching rear version uses three compounds over five zones, balancing centre stability, mid-lean grip and adhesion at deeper lean angles.
- Mono Spiral Belt (MSB): Lightweight cords wrapped around the circumference give consistent contact feel, rotational stability, high-speed control and damping with reduced mass.
- Improved mileage: The revised compound and tread deliver a stated 36% longer wear life than the S20 EVO.
The S21 suits riders who expect sharp performance on winding country roads along with the flexibility for occasional circuit use. Stable feedback helps the rider maintain confidence as the pace rises.
Special “M” version developed in this size for the Honda CB 1000 R, SC80, 1000. It may also suit other motorcycles where the size and vehicle approval are correct.
