Bridgestone Battlax S22 (BB) – hypersport tyre
The Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 combines sporting road and occasional circuit performance with stability and improved wet grip. It is aimed at demanding riders who value accurate steering, predictable feedback and strong cornering performance.
- Wet grip: Higher-silica compounds provide 5% more wet-road grip than the S21, supporting confidence when conditions change.
- Corner speed: The revised construction permits up to 15% higher cornering speed on dry tarmac and gives the rider a more sporting response.
- 3LC and 5LC technology: The front uses 3-Layer Compound (3LC), with a firmer centre for stability and mileage and softer shoulders for cornering grip. The rear uses 5-Layer Compound (5LC) with three compounds.
- Mono Spiral Belt (MSB) for stability: Even pressure distribution improves high-speed composure and feedback.
The S22 suits modern supersport and naked motorcycles used on winding roads and occasional track days. Its combination of compound zones and belt construction is intended to retain precision under acceleration, braking and sustained high-speed loads.
Special “B” specification. This model and size were developed for the HONDA CB 1000 Hornet 1000. It may also fit other motorcycles where the size and approval match.
