Bridgestone Battlax Racing W01 – wet racing tyre
The W01 is developed specifically for rain-soaked circuits, providing race-level grip and control in demanding wet conditions.
- Water evacuation: its pattern moves water rapidly from the contact patch to reduce aquaplaning and maximise wet grip.
- Secure feedback: predictable traction through all lean angles helps riders judge available grip in heavy rain.
- Rapid warm-up: a newly developed compound reaches its working range quickly on a cold, wet track.
Deep directional grooves and the wet-specific compound have complementary roles: the tread creates physical drainage paths, while the rubber formulation generates chemical grip at low track temperatures. This gives racers usable feedback under braking, through lean and on corner exit.
