Bridgestone BT46 UM – sport-touring tyre
The bias-ply Battlax BT46 is the modern successor to the BT45, developed for secure long-distance touring and responsive riding on winding roads.
- Wet traction: The rear tyre uses a silica compound that improves wet grip while retaining proven dry performance.
- Controlled steering: A reversed V-shaped front pattern reduces irregular wear and provides accurate feedback.
- Extended service life: RC Polymer technology improves silica distribution, tread flexibility and mileage.
- Depending on tyre size and motorcycle approval, examples include Honda CB750, Yamaha XJ600, Kawasaki Z650 and Suzuki GS500.
UM (Universal Mounting) version: may be fitted tubeless (TL) or with a suitable inner tube (TT) on rims designed for tube-type tyres.
