Tyre DOT The age of a tyre is indicated by the DOT code – a production date marking.
The DOT code consists of four numbers on the side of the tire. The first two numbers represent the week of tyre production, and the last two indicate the year of production. For example, DOT 2823 means that the tyre was manufactured in the 28th week of the year 2023.
DOT is an abbreviation for “Department of Transportation,” as this marking originated in the United States and has been approved for use on European tires since the early 1980s.
We offer only new tyres from current production. Products in stock for more than 2 years bear a DOT number, indicating the production time of the tyres.
