Metzeler Karoo 4 (M+S) (B) – dual-sport and enduro tyre
Developed from the Karoo 3, the Karoo 4 serves adventure bikes and maxi-enduros on both roads and demanding trails. Its estimated balance is 50% road and 50% off road.
- Refined pattern: A patented block arrangement reduces running noise. Transverse blocks generate off-road drive while maintaining stability on tarmac.
- Off-road traction: Scoop-shaped blocks bite into soft ground and promote self-cleaning, preserving grip at different lean angles and on firmer terrain.
- Road control: A stiffer carcass and multi-radius profiles improve handling and corner grip, including when the motorcycle is loaded.
- Wet performance: The tread is designed for heavy rain, low temperatures and difficult roads; Metzeler internal testing placed it at the front of its category for wet braking.
A balanced choice for adventure journeys that regularly move between asphalt and challenging unsealed surfaces.
Special “B” specification developed for BMW F 900 GS (MG90/MG90r, 895) and F 900 GS Adventure (MG90/MG90r, 895). Other motorcycles require the correct size and approval.
