Metzeler Karoo Street (M+S) – dual-sport & enduro tyre
The Karoo Street is an adventure tyre developed for the changing needs of modern dual-sport riders. It delivers strong performance on tarmac while retaining useful capability on gravel and firm trails. Its estimated use split is 70% road and 30% off-road.
- Karoo 3-inspired tread: the aggressive block pattern takes its cues from the Karoo 3 but is optimised for road use. Large central blocks add stability on tarmac and extra biting edges away from it.
- High-silica compound: formulated for confident wet and dry road grip while the open, block-style tread continues to find traction when the route moves onto unsealed surfaces.
- Balanced versatility: combines wet-weather performance, straight-line stability and useful mileage with dependable off-road behaviour on gravel roads and hard-packed ground.
Depending on tyre size and vehicle approval, examples may include the BMW R 1250 GS, KTM 1290 Super Adventure and Honda Africa Twin.
