Bridgestone Battlax S21 (G) – hypersport tyre
The S21 is a premium hypersport tyre for supersport and naked motorcycles, delivering road and occasional track performance with accurate handling, grip and improved service life.
- 3-Layer Compound (3LC): The front tyre uses a durable centre for stability and mileage with softer shoulders for grip at full lean.
- 5-Layer Compound (5LC): Corresponding rear sizes use three compounds across five zones to balance upright stability, mid-lean traction and edge grip.
- Mono Spiral Belt (MSB): Lightweight wound cords give consistent feedback while supporting reduced weight, rotational stability, grip, damping and high-speed performance.
- Improved mileage: Optimised rubber and tread provide 36% more mileage than the S20 EVO.
The Battlax S21 offers sporting riders confidence on winding roads and occasional track days.
The front-specific 3LC arrangement separates the demands of upright travel and cornering. Durable rubber around the centre supports braking stability and mileage, while the softer shoulder areas provide additional grip as the motorcycle leans. MSB construction allows the casing to react evenly, helping steering precision, damping and high-speed stability. This technology package is designed to maintain predictable feedback from ordinary road riding through occasional circuit sessions.
This special “G” specification and size were developed for the Suzuki GSX-S 750, WC50, 750, and Suzuki GSX-S 750 (35kW), WC52, 750. It may also suit other motorcycles where approved.
