The M-marked version is a motorcycle-specific specification. Its pattern is intended to clear water effectively while keeping the footprint stable through acceleration, braking and lean. This makes it suitable for everyday roads as well as longer touring journeys where comfort and consistent response matter.
This special “M” specification and size were developed for: Yamaha MT-07, RM04, 689; Yamaha MT-07 ABS, RM17, 689; and Yamaha MT-07 ABS (35kW), RM18, 689. It may also suit other motorcycles where approved.
